Crafty PlayDate
We went to the Library this morning to meet our play group. The kids did Halloween crafts and afterwards chased each other around the room. One of the mom's brought in a couple of books and that calmed the kiddos down for a few minutes. As we were leaving the parking lot Isaac said "more please, mom." He wanted more playtime with his friends.

September 19 St. Joseph's School Fall Festival
Isaac and I went to St. Joeseph's School first fall festival. We met our friends Diana and Isaac Werling there. I didn't get any photos of the boys playing the games, but fishing and soccer shootout were Isaac's favorites. He caught a lot of "dee" (candy) and the sunglasses you'll find in the photo. After games we had a hot dog lunch and came home for naptime. After nap Isaac went over to play and have dinner with Mary, Alexis and Isabelle. I returned to the school for the silent auction and spaghetti dinner. Isaac loves playing in Alexis' castle and is fascinated with Isabelle "bebe bella."

September 17, 2008 Bishop Park
We met our playgroup at Bishop Park today. Isaac was determined to take his John Deere "dump truck" with him. I had a long conversation with his the entire way to the park about sharing the truck. He's still a little too young to understand that concept, but he actually did better than expected. By the end of the play date he enjoyed having Ryan and Connor play with the truck and mulch.

September 18 Circus
We rarely make spur of the moment plans in our house. Today we did. Tonight we went to the Cole Bros. Circus in Watkinsville. We met our friends, Melissa, Richard, Ella and Nora there and had a blast. Camels, elephants, ponies, clowns, trapeze artists, motorcycles--it was a family fun event. I didn't know what to expect and found Isaac mesmorized by the entire scene. Ella hopped on the camel AND pony for a ride, but Isaac was a bit more timid. He did insist on having his face painted before we left. ROAR. Donavan enjoyed the fair food--funnel cake was his favorite. I've decided that we live a very low risk life.
