Touch a Truck Day photos.I took Isaac to play with some of his friends at Barnes and Noble. Isaac really enjoys the train section and looking at the books. I realized that his time limit is about 45 minutes and then he starts getting ansy and we need to move on or else he'll start taking all of the books off shelves.
Donavan took Isaac to Touch a Truck sponsored by Athens Clarke County leisure services. He loved the fire truck, but also enjoyed the back hoe, tractor, ambulance, lawn mower and garbage truck. He was really frightened by the noises some of the louder trucks made, but enjoyed pretending to drive and figure out how all of the gadgets worked.
Donavan's school had a tennis tournament fundraiser this weekend so some of the pictures are of Isaac playing with his friend Drew. It was really interesting to watch Isaac relate to older kids at the tournament. When approached by little girls Isaac shyed away and stood behind my leg, but once Drew (a boy) showed up he was not shy at all. Isaac enjoyed watching the "t ball" (tennis ball) matches.
