Watson Mill Bridge Nature Trails

It was a gorgeous fall day in Georgia so we headed to Watson Mill Bridge State Park after church this morning. It is located in Comer, Georgia which is about 30 miles east of Athens. The leaves are changing in our neck of the woods and Isaac enjoyed picking up colorful (and some not so colorful) leaves from the ground. The covered bridge was really neat; one of only 20 left in Georgia. It was a peaceful outing. On the way back, we stopped in Colbert, GA (another small town) to take a look at this old fire truck. Isaac talked about driving the fire truck during our hike, but was afraid to climb into the drivers seat when we got to the truck.

Love the photos! What a beautiful outing! Isaac loves the leaves like I do!. I have so many now in old phone books and catalogs being pressed so I can use them in my clay projects. Isaac is gowing up too fast! Hope you get this comment. love, gg
